DESCRIPTION:Dès 1994\, Joël commence à sculpter l\'argile. Sa compréhension de l\'anatomie humaine acquise par la danse insuffle à ses œuvres une fluidité soulignant la beauté de l\'humain dans ses mouvements. Rapidement\, ses œuvres atteignent un rayonnement national et aujourd\'hui\, son travail peut être vu un peu partout au Canada aux États-Unis\, en France\, en Nouvelle-Zélande\, en Australie de même qu\'en Chine.  Pour Joël\, le corps est un instrument projetant images et sentiments par l\'entremise d\'une suite de poses enchaînées. Son œuvre tente de fixer dans l\'argile ces images et sentiments en saisissant le moment. Joël évolue autant comme sculpteur que céramiste. Cela lui a permis d\'entreprendre entre autres l\'élaboration de la série «Danse-moi ta note». C\'est dans cette oeuvre que nous l\'accompagnerons.In 1994\, Joël began clay sculpting. His understanding of human anatomy gained through dance infuses his work with a fluidity that underlines the beauty in movement of the human form. His pieces rapidly gained national acclaim and\, today\, his works can be seen in Canada\, the United-States\, France\, New-Zealand\, Australia and China. Joël sees the human body as an instrument projecting images and emotions through a sequence of choreographed poses. His works attempt to set these images and emotions into clay by seizing the moment. Joël pursues his artistic evolution both as a sculptor and ceramist\, thus enabling him to give birth to such series as Dance me a note.
